About FAKESNIFF

FAKESNIFF is a Dutch streetwear label based in Leeuwarden. We make heavyweight t-shirts carrying one statement each, printed in small runs.

Nothing is real.

It is not a complaint that the world is fake. Everyone worked that out already. It is closer to an instruction: if nearly everything around you was assembled by someone who profits from it, then at least choose what you stand in.

That is why each shirt carries exactly one thing. No logos across the chest, no seasonal collections designed to be replaced next year. One line or one image you actually agree with, printed large on the back.

What you are buying

Every shirt is 240gsm heavyweight organic cotton. That is considerably heavier than a normal t-shirt, which usually sits around 180gsm. You notice the difference immediately: it holds its shape rather than hanging off you, and it keeps doing that after dozens of washes.

• Open-end cotton, which is what gives the fabric its firmer hand

Deliberately small

We print few of each design. That is not artificial scarcity as a marketing device, it is simply how you work if you do not want to destroy stock nobody wanted. When a design is gone, it is gone.

FAKESNIFF is made by three people. There is no department between you and the person who thought of the shirt.
